Food, sight-seeing and shopping
The sea food is really amazing... if u r staying in and around any beach hotel than there are lots of restaurants on the beach side ...really good one... we stayed in baga beach.. the LAXMAN restaurant on the beach side served really good promfret and prawns...the goanese dish are really tasty... In Panaji the FOODLAND serves really good food...but the restaurants around calunguate beach are not good...we tried in two of them... it was very bad...The most important thing not to be missed is the cruise(generally 1 hr) from panaji. It starts from around 5 and has different set of timings...

Activities & things to do
Take a two wheeler which u get for rent in less than 200 excluding petrol..it is much much better than any other conducted tour...u have ur independence to go any where.. dont miss the sports...u get it many of the beaches but in calunguate beach it is good and a bit cheap. u can also bargain on the prices...sinkerium beach also has good sports but it is a bit costly than calunguate..but it is less crowded than calunguate. U get lots of funky jewelery and hats which u can buy if u r interested..also dont forget to make a tattoo done

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
If u are traveling from Bangalore and ur budget is not very high than u can opt for a train or Paulo travels buses which r very good..but u need advance booking for that specially in peak season they increase their prices.
