new mumbai | 29th February 2008 | | north goa trip... a trip worth cherishing | Overview of the destination
goa is beautiful place which is not in a hurry like mumbai... everyone seems relaxed. things move too at a slow pace.. and night life is great with live bands performing in the beach side restaurants.
the only problem is finding petrol pumps or but still you can purchase it from the black market.. ha ha bikes are available for rent so thats the best way to travel. we went there in jan.Food, sight-seeing and shopping
the beaches there are beautiful... calangaute and baga for water sports and arambol, morlem for relaxing.. people should go to the dudhsagar falls located in the belgaum road.. the place is amazing. we went riding all the way which should take around 3 to 4 hrs.. there are buses to take you there to.
then there is the basilica and the se cathedral.
chapora fort and aguada fort both are very scenic. Activities & things to do
para sailing, water scooters, banana ride, dolphin trips etc are there. so u can njoy those.
also if interested there are scuba diving schools.
rent a bike and explore. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
we went taking a bus. you can take a train or drive down. i m sure it is not difficult to find. we got down at mapusa which is the closest to calangaute and baga beach | |
