Kerala is a beautiful state with an excellent landscape of palm-lined beaches, thick jungles, plantation-covered hills, and enthralling rivers and lakes. It is considered to be one of the cleanest and the most peaceful parts of India, with the state remaining a major source of India's bananas, rubber, cardamoms etc.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Fish has its special taste and Kerala's traditional food unforgettable taste. All tasty and spicy, don't miss the place. Chicken biryani must eat. Excellent tasty veg and non veg Kerala cuisine is available at every small restaurant at exceedingly low prices, fresh, hot, and much better than what is offered at resort hotels. Shopping: Spices and masala. Munnar and all its famous falls and sights.

Activities & things to do: Enjoyed every moment. Houseboat, the most beautiful thing. To have a beautiful ayurvedic massage.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Traveling should be in group and it is very much safe also.

The beach, the freshly catch fish from the sea the cool breeze its just great to back in my own country side or you call it Gods own country!Kerala is a coastal area in India and have a huge popularity for Back Water trips n much more anticipated non polluted hill stations...its breath taking beauty nd its beaches are well know around the globe..tourists pop in all the time n you get whatever you name it...from overseas food n cosmetics to cloths and health products..I am blessed to be here cos I am proud to be a part of this vast country side.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: My favorite local restaurants are Golden Fish is sitauted in Kanhangad and Metro pol, there are few bars but mind you its not clean, smelly n stinky and I recommend you better buy and drink at your home...Bekal Fort is famous for its fort and very expensive Taj hotel situated few kilometer from here n the place call Kappil Beach.....shopping is made easy with hundreds of cloths shops and very easy access to railway n international n domestic airports..fishing is a major activity here and if you love fish this is the place for you to have some tasty fresh seafood.

Activities & things to do: Swimming in the sea,Jogging early morning,Badminton, cricket by the seaside.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: There are plenty of buses n coaches plus trains operate at your ease...Flights available directly to Mangalore from Mumbai and Chennai, Mangalore it only take less than 2 hours to reach the Kanhangad area.
