For any human of any age a heavenly destination on the foothills of the Himalayas. The snow peaks are just a few yards away. In a degree of fresh pure air, staying in tents without heaters is an experience by itself. That is what SANGLA Valley is all about. A seven hour road journey from Shimla through and through the mountains into the mouth of the breathtaking valley is an exotic experience of lifetime.Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Highlight is the simplicity of the locals and their warm welcome. This place is for sheer unwinding from our stressful routine. Once we are there we can only carry home the beauty of this place in our heart and cherish it forever. The locals go out of the way to make your stay a comfort, arranging even bonfires for the chilled evenings. To cut things short as said before, its heaven on earth. Activities & things to do
There is nothing to shop for. The main attraction is trekking down the mountains towards the rivers flowing down from Himalayas. There is also a naturally formed ice shiv-ling for religious people to look forward. Food too is simple but would definitely advise to carry loads of water with us for drinking purpose. Option one -Mumbai-Delhi/Shimla- By Road seven hours to Sangla.
Option two - Mumbai-Delhi/Manali - By road five hours to Sangla.
