We started our package from the wonderful tea gardens of Munnar..The lovely tea gardens with clouds descending on them was a treat for the eyes... The Eravikulum wildlife sanctuary provided us the view of the Nilgiri Tahr. From munnar we went to Thekkady wildlife sanctuary. Thekkady is home to the Periyar wildlife sanctuary..We got to see an elephant taking bath and a 1000kg Bull in the morning boat ride..From there we moved to Alleppey where we went for a night ride aboard the houseboat...The 2 bedroom hall houseboat was a signature of luxury..The backwaters of kerala with coconut trees bending almost to touch the water was an amazing site..The food and the service levels there were great..Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Taking a houseboat at Alleppey is a must and sure shot not to be missed... Activities & things to do

Munnar is 4 hours from Cochin. Cochin is well connected with Mumbai and Chennai by rail and air. | |
