I had picked this hand drawn map at Srivardhan a few years ago. It has helped me explore the coastline with all road details and distances marked. This is not to scale but is more useful than other maps.Food, sight-seeing and shopping

Enjoy the sea forts, hill forts, beaches, cool breeze and sun. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
Use the Mumbai-Goa highway for most of the jouney and then take the shortest route to coastal destination. If you have your own vehicle, try the coastal roads for splendid views.The finest beaches are at - Kashid and Ganpatipule. Just enjoy the white sand and waves. Other beaches may have black sand and rocks so be careful. | |
