Simply a Superb Place. Staying at Fern Hill and went around all the places around the place was a nice experience. Walking in early morning is a wonderful thing which cannot be explain in words, only by experiencing by self. Really, really memorable period and would like to visit again. Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Stayed at Fern Hill, Sterling Resort, we had food in the Resort Restaurant which was very nice and to our expectations and nice, tasty and the service was also good. Boat house and sailing was a nice experience. Thotta betta visit was good and all the places including Botanical Garden, Mudhumalai animal sanctuary are very good including Elephant Safari which should not be missed. Activities & things to do
Boat sailing, Horse riding, Safari trip and roaming in the nice weather are really not to be missed. Go to the peak and watching the valleys and the surroundings are very beautiful and one should not miss in life. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
Go to Ooty in February/ March, september/ October months. It is better to go by Train from Mettupalayam which is near Coimbatore which is 2.5 hrs drive from Ooty. You can also go by Bus from Coimbatore. You can reach Coimbatore by Flight from Chennai, Cochin, etc. It is advisable to book Hotel accomadations before reaching Ooty. In Summer months April, May, June it is difficult for accomadation. Tamil Nadu Tourism Department also has Hotel which is cheaper and reasonable. |
