SAPUTARA - A JOURNEY IN PEACE!
Overview of the destination
I basically wanted to go to a less commercial & crowded place on a vacation with my family. Then I came across Saputara. We stayed for 3 nights there & let me tell you it was peace & happiness in our lives! It’s a non alcoholic place, very less crowded & best of all: no mobile signals! God, it was terrific to miss Mumbai!

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
To see around Saputara you require max 1 day! It’s so small. But you will love the long quiet walks with your wife (or your girlfriend!). The world is so small there. You can shop for wood & bamboo work here.

Activities & things to do
Saputara has very little activity of its own, but it does not matter if you like to be at peace with your self. You can do boating, ride the ropeway, watch sunrise or sunset or just wander peacefully!

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
From Mumbai the best way to reach Saputara is via Nasik. It’s 75km from Nasik & 265km from Mumbai. The roads are good.
