The wonderful cold water fall 'Kakolat'
Overview of the destination
Hi travellers, Kakolat Water Falls, there is very less people know about it. The gov is not showing interest in developing this beautiful natural water falls. I visited the place so many times or you may say when ever I get time I must go there. Kakolat water falls is on NH-31 in Nawadah, Bihar - BEAUTIFUL, LIKE A FILM SET! Tough to get to, but worth it. Here water cascades down from a height of 150 to 160 ft. Near the falls there is a natural reservoir. Green forests and a calm and serene atmosphere makes it a favorite spot for tourists. People take a bath under falls and worship in shiva temple on the mountain, just beside the waterfall. The right time to visit the place is from February to July. But people visit the over the year. The only way to reach the place is by road.
