If someone is visiting Goa for the first time then he should stay at busy beaches like Calangute or Colva because taking trips to North & South Goa is easier from these places but if someone has been to Goa before and just wants to enjoy the sea beach then my favorite is Palolem beach where one can stay in the beach huts and enjoy the sea view in the best possible way.Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Food (both sea food & north Indian food) is easily available at the more busy beaches. Trips to Goan churches,temples,beaches,waterfalls for the first timers. Activities & things to do
Dolphin trip by boat at Palolem beach is really a memorable experience. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
