the destination is perfect if you are planning for some quite time for urself, the stay was very pleasant, the staff was very freindly , the food was nice, the service was good, and also the rooms were very spacious and comfortable.

Overall experience was very pleasent. Hotel Location is just near the main market with all basic ammenties available around.

Best Experience: The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

Worst Experience: Nothing as such.

We had gone for our honeymoon to Leh, Laddakh and stayed at a hotel which was booked through the net but was not very impressive and decided to change it after seeing Namgyal..It was really a pleasant staying at Namgyal cos of many reasons. The Room was semi suite and facing the snow laden mountain.. It was really wonderful stay, food was also very good..We enjoyed our stay.

Worst Experience: The Food.. I am very big fan of thupka ( a tibetien dish= Soupie noodles ). We ordered one and shared it as it's quite a big portion for one.. There was some pickle kept on the table and we were told to use that pickle to enhance the taste if desired, it was red in colour and thupka was little bland and i decided to take a spoon full of that pickle which was not a very good decision as it was a chilli pickle and was very hot and seldom people used that pickle.. I got a lesson "NEVER ACT SMART".. My husband was all in tears as he doesn't take spicy food..It was Hilarious.

Very nice hotel, good views, neat and clean rooms, very helping lady service staff, well maintained, they arrange all permits, Labzong driver knows all about leh and surroundings.

We were there in a group even before the tourist season started. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Rooms are pretty cosy with a breathtaking view of snow clad mountains on all sides.

Best Experience: One on our day, we had to leave for Pangong very early in the morning before the starting time of their kitchen. On our request, they gave us a good breakfast packed and ready at 06:00 AM. The kitchen staff was very accomodating for our requests.

Worst Experience: Out of the 4 rooms that we were occupying, one of the rooms never got any running hot water. There was some problem which could not be resolved in all 6 days that we were there. But they provided us with buckets of hot water.
