"Poor service"

  • Posted Dec 5, 2011
the overall experience was not good enough.the rooms were not good enough.to far away from panji.though food & other service was good.

Best Experience: due to not providing proper room we were going to rooms only at nights only for sleeping.

Worst Experience: proper room was not allocated. on requesting though all rooms were empty not given the asked room.initially while booking in package so many items were added later on it was not there

"Over all experience of the..."

Over all experience of the resort wasnt good. Can get better deals on spot bookings. We booked advance thru a travel agent..

Best Experience: The only good thing was the ambience of the resort, pool was good, but double standards as they favored foreigners than indians. we werent allowed to wear shorts in the pool only swimming trunks but no such rule applied to foreign guests there

Worst Experience: The distance from the resort to the beach is more than just the half km they say on their site or through their booking agents. We were promised a cab of our own for the 2 day sight seeing but all we got was a rickety bus and we cut short the 2nd day tour in the middle and got down at a beach, on day 1 they took us 175km on a trip which showed a temple and a church on a hot sunny day and wouldnt give more than 20 mins on a good beach like Colva so basically we just roamed the entire city without actually seeing anything worth while. So in the end we hired a car of our own and saw most of the city..Food was also not that good as compared to what we could have outside so mostly we skipped our free dinner at the resort and ate outside, most of the staff were grumpy

"had been to goa many..."

  • Posted Sep 30, 2009
had been to goa many times before and stayed at a couple of other hotels so this time after looking up this resort on the net booked it for my honeymoon. except for spacious rooms there is nothing much in this hotel. the staff is rude the food not that nice even though we had taken an AP plan with all meals included we used to have lunch out. the road from the main candolim road to the hotel is dark and is a mud road with ups and downs did not feel safe going on that road at dark so was forced to have dinner there. there is not much choice in the food for breakfast and dinner both if u have booked with a meal plan so guys i wud sugest dont go in for a meal plan if you are still planing to go there. we had booked for 3 nights and 4 days as we had never been to that resort before and thank god we did not book for longer so after that we packed our bags and moved to ronil beach resort which was quite nice.

Best Experience: sorry did not have any

Worst Experience: once after we served our food from the small buffet they have for dinner and seated ourselves we realised we did not take water so requested a waiter for some water he rudely told us for people on pacakage water is self service and refused to give us water. if waiters in this so called 3 star cant give u water at the table then it is not worth it.

"We stayed in this resort..."

  • Posted Apr 4, 2009
We stayed in this resort for 3N/4D in January this year. Though the trip to Goa itself was one of the most fabulous and memorable one, the stay in the resort wasn\'t as good as we had hoped it would be. They have a reasonably impressive website, but the first clue to the real state of affairs in this resort to anybody who visits the site should be the route map that has been displayed. The map is hardly informative and resolution of the image itself is poor. This kind of reflects the lack of professionalism in the people who are running the place.

Best Experience: There aren\'t any \'best\' experiences. But the good features of the resort are.. 1. Clean and well furnished rooms 2. Proximity to many interesting places in Goa( Calungute, Aguada, Panaji, Old Goa, Anjuna etc.,). The lively and beautiful condolim main road with its numerous european restaurants and great shopping places, is just a kilometer from here. It is an awesome experience to take a walk along this road during evening 3. Well maintained swimming pool 4. Bike rentals( I guess that is good in all the resorts in Goa) 5. Ambience of pool side restaurant ( though food isn\'t really mouth watering) 6. Goa itself. It is addicting.

Worst Experience: Of these there are quite a few.. 1.The location of the resort ( a paradox really!). Not very easy to find and is about a kilometer from the Condolim main road. This one kilometer stretch is a country mud road and is deserted. You don\'t feel very safe to walk back to this place after dark. 2. Hostile and very unfriendly reception staff 3. Very small rooms ( We stayed in a standard A/C room and it was very cramped) 4. The geyser in the toilet was very small. At any given point of time you could only get one mug of hot water! 5. Room was worm infested. There were lot of centipedes living in peaceful coexistence with the roaches and the unsuspecting guests. When i asked for a change of room, i was shown an even scarier room which made our room seem like a presidential suite. 6. A/C was very noisy
