the view from the hotel is stunning it has all the facilities ... the staff guides u very well and the rooms are very nice u get natural light.. too good

Goa is a perfect place for a vacation, far away from the maddening crowds. The hotel is located right near the beach, where one can watch the splendour of the sunrise to the tune of the chirping birds, and the sound of the waves blending in perfect harmony with nature. Goa is a place which is suitable for all kind off people.

Best Experience: The service and maintenance is good and the staff in this resort are very kind and helpful.

Worst Experience: The resort to look from outside its good. They have concentrated much on the exteriors than the interiors.

Had been to this resort alongwith my family . The location is great with a lot of shacks around which is a boon for sea food enthusiast like me. The resort itself is good - very well maintained swimming pool, good clean rooms, walking distance from the beach. The service though could have been much better.

Best Experience: Very well maintained swimming pool inc a kids pool. Walking distance to the beach. Lots of good places to eat around the resort.

Worst Experience: Service could be much better. Telephones not working for all the 3 days that I stayed there. With kids - requested for a 2 hour extn of the check out but was turned down (rooms were definitely not full - considering that I travelled on a weekday during the off-season in Goa).

Our stay at the Star Beach Resort Colva,has been one of the most enjoyable. Located a short walk from the beach,walking down a dusty side road,which is in the process of being developed.However our resort was clean and pleasant enough,a few improvements could be made for example,grounds on the front could have more seating and possibly more greenery to give a more impressive look. The front desk can not be faulted it was a pleasure to deal with all members who could not help you enough,this goes across he board,the boys who cleaned the rooms,to the staff in the dining areas Francis in particular and not forgetting Lynette on reception.Room facilities good,room service excellent.Food and drink, a lot more could be done to improve choice on menu more variety as the hotel have many nationalities that stay.Activities,apart from the pool not much else,perhaps evening entertainment and more outdoor cusine. Finally, our whole stay was a happy one and will return in the future with more friends and family highly recommended. Thank You to all staff and management. Best Experience: The banter with staff in the restaurant,teaching them our names, mine name became Hello Heather Carol became Oh Carol.The security man on the gate Mono always a smile and could produce anything you wished from the shop nothing was to much trouble.And not forgetting the signs that went up when a guest was seen stealing green mangoes. It read 500 rupee fine for each mango PL UCKED. this was quickly corrected to read PLUCKED, when told the consequences if someone decided to add !ucked!!!!!!!!! Hope you got the joke.

Worst Experience: Guests being allowed to parade around the foyer area with just a towel wrapped around them,spitting in the grounds, drying of clothing on shrubs,,all uncalled for.perhaps more signs and notices in bedrooms and grounds would help. Apart from this ,not much more to add. .

Although the hotel is suitably located and has facilities like swimming pool, the service is very bad and the staff is quite rude. The rooms are fine but not maintained nicely. There were cobwebs on lampshades and bedsheets were dirty. \'All major credit cards are accepted. \' is a lie..there is no facility for cards. Food is quite costly. There is no doctor on call.
