Great destination for budget travelers interested in history, culture, monuments & fun.

We started from Rues Airport & headed for Solau in Terrogona state. Stayed in a resort near beach for 2 days. It was great experience as beach was very clean and good for shopping. Thereafter we took a train ( euro 8 only) to Barcelona. It is an amazing city - lots of sightseeing, soccer lovers, food streets & heritage buildings. Everywhere fun and flora. After 3 days we went to Madrid by high speed train that took 2 hours to Madrid- the capital city of Spain. Difficult to describe the cultural richness of city in few words. A conducted tour by hop on hope off bus for 2 days pass was not sufficient to explore Madrid fully.

Priorat ... Have you heard of it?

Priorat is the Spain’s best kept secret to the wine world. The landscape of the regions, the calm in the air and the big and the bold wines are not be missed. A couple of hours from Barcelona, all you need is a big appetite of reds. A days stay in one of the many family run is recommended
