MTDC-Tadoba MTDC resort @ Tadoba was an wonderful experience.
Govt run resorts lived up to their expectations but with a few surprises... We had a prior booking done through our friend is Chandrapur as booking from Bangalore would be next to impossible! We opted for the 4-bedde non-ac room, the room was spacious and surprisingly very clean and tidy, 6-7 of us could easily fit in. Those who visit the jungles only stay here and the staff out here are ready to service according to the timings (like morning at 5 we used to get tea just before leaving for the safari...) Breakfast, Lunch and dinner had to be pre-ordered and they would be ready in time and mark my words all the 3 days we stay, it was delicious.
For the adventureres and birders, there is a lake right next to the resort and the campus itself is a good place for birding (numerous butterflies) as we found out..

Royal Tiger Resort We visited Tadoba and Moharli during the month of April and wanted to stay at a decent place without making a huge dent to our pocket. We had heard about a new resort being opened at Tadoba, so we decided to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised when we visited Royal Tiger Resort. The staff was very helpful and ensured our stay was very comfortable. The food was simply marvelous! They had 3 types of rooms available apart from a dormitory. We had opted for the Deluxe room and we found it very elegantly decorated.
Our kids enjoyed themselves at the play area which had slides, see-saw, swings etc.
The staff arranged for the jungle safaries promptly and even guided us about the forest.
We were a satisfied lot at the end of our trip.

Tadoba Resort it was a average hotel, less budget, tadoba is not commensurable  Consequently, all arrangements for travelers take care of only the absolute necessities. service was good food was great it was a good experience.
