We selected Silver Oak since it had fantastic reviews online. Based on the reviews, the hotel seemed like a nice value for money place. Our earlier experiences with value for money places had led us to have moderate expectations. However, we were in for a pleasant surprise.
The place is well located, just 2 minutes off the bus stand. It is in a lane so there is no hustle bustle and ample peace and quiteness. The rooms are quite spacious and well lit. What impressed us most was the way the whole room was presented, everything looked nice and new.The rooms appear quite posh and all the fittings appear to be new and of good quality. The garden is well maintained and this gives a decent view for the garden facing rooms. The service is very nice. all room service orders were prompt and the food was good. The place does suffer from not having a fully functioning in house restaurant, but they make it up and do not let it impact the guest. The manager was courteous and very helpful. Minor issues were attended to promptly
Overall, the place is truly pleasant to stay, value of money and more.
