Dandeli is a forest reservoir in Karnataka State of India. Dandeli is famous for Hornbills. Its dense forest having different plants, mostly the Bamboo tree\'s. Government and people here have kept it a real jungle with uninterrupted wild life and plant density. One can see different migrated and local birds here. Dandeli is one of the heavens for bird watchers and photographers. There are several Government and private resorts operating in extended forest limits. Most of them are well maintained and staff is very cooperative, might be the overall tendency of people in this region. One can see Dam built over river Kali. Even though the Kali name comes from black color of water, river is very clean. The rocks at the bottom make river look black and hence is the name river Kali.
