It is advisable to visit Allepy in December till Feb till the wheather is cold and you can go for..... It is advisable to visit Allepy in December till Feb till the wheather is cold and you can go for speed boating and take a shikara boat for a comoplete day on backwater, once the march starts heat spoils the mood and one doesnt prefers to sight seing during noon hours. Pristine Island now known as Pride Emarald Island - Alleppy.situated in middle of a creek one needs to travel on a boat (short distance though) to reach main hotel with its floating cottages as its USP on backwaters.The whole feel of floating cottage and staying on a island is really worthwhile and with the kind hospitality offered.
