A wonderful affordable property with amenities like swimming pool, games etc. in the Calangute... .. A wonderful affordable property with amenities like swimming pool, games etc. in the Calangute beach main road. easily accessible by public buses from all major bus stands and railway station (Mapusa, Panjim) so you can save on taxi and transport to reach to and fro from the hotel. Rooms: Rooms are wonderful, spacious and clean with huge balconies. Bathrooms were also neat and clean. Price: Prices were affordable and great for a property like this in calangute area . it was less than 1.5k inclusive of breakfast and all taxes. Hotel: Hotel contained Bar, swimming pool, restaurant by the pool, facility and sitting area for indoor games such as carom/chess Location: Located on the main road to calangute beach. other properties in that road with similar facilities cost more than 3k per night. Calangute Beach is 2 min walk from, waga beach is 3 k.m. distance. Candolim beach, fort agoda are 4 and 10 k.m from hotel respectively. saturday night market is 5-6 k.m. and so is anjuna and wagator beaches. Public transport like buses are easily available and connect to major areas of goa. More » « Hide

Destination & Location: The location was strategic, away from city buzz. those who plan to go by... .. Destination & Location: The location was strategic, away from city buzz. those who plan to go by bus will have to get down at kushal nagar bus stop which is hardly 5 k.m. from the resort. Autos in vicinity are easily available. It was a romantic experience to travel for a while in customized autos in monsoon instead of all covered cabs. Appearance: The resort will give you the feel of a fully furnished millitary regiment with fort gates wide opened to welcome you Bookings & Front Office: We reached at around 4 a.m. and still found someone in the front recepetion at the gate to welcome us. The Service: Service can be improved. It takes long time to process your order. and room service is not available from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Room: Rooms could have been made more comfortable. we stayed in super deluxe maharaja room as others were not worth staying even there bathrooms had cobwebs, however the rooms were cleaned on request but first impression was not good. For those whose priority is room, this destination will not meet up to your expectations. Food&Drink: They do not store liqour, but can arrange and serve it if notified. Food was delicious with loads of options in dinner. Many items in menu were not available in the breakfast however whatever was available was worthwhile. Food Prices are pretty cometitive for a location like this Activities: Resort arranges for a cultural folk dance and singing program every evening in its garden. Since the program was in local language maximum people were not able to understand it. Though it was fun. For those who enjoy swiming in holidays this is an ideal destination as they have a huge pool in the backyard. More » « Hide
