I used to stay in this hotel while in Madurai since the last several years. This hotel attracted... .. I used to stay in this hotel while in Madurai since the last several years. This hotel attracted me because of the very important location ie. very near to Madurai Junction Railway Station and close access to the world famous Meenakshi Temple. The building of the hotel is very old, but maintained reasonably well but not so good, Food available at the restaurant is tasty. There is a Travel Desk in the hotel lobby of which the service is excellent. The service of the staff is satisfactory. More » « Hide

I have been to the Holy Nagore Dargah last week. Nagore Dargah is the shrine dedicated to Meeran..... I have been to the Holy Nagore Dargah last week. Nagore Dargah is the shrine dedicated to Meeran Sahib Abdul Qadir Shahul Hamid Badshah which is one of the popular pilgrimage centre for muslims in Tamilnadu. The Dargah is standing as a proof of the harmonious co-existence of Hindu-Muslim communities. The main campus at Nagore is enclosed by a compound wall, with four entrances, one each on the north, south east and west. The large tower called 'Periya Minara' stands at a height of 131 ft. The mortal remains of Meeran Sahib, his son Syed Mohd Yousuff and his daughter-in-law Saeeda Sultana Biwi are buried in the tombs situated in three separate chambers in a golden dome building. I made ziyarat in the tomb of Holy Meeran Sahib and I felt a good mental peace while coming out. More » « Hide

The hotel is good due to the proximity to the Railway Station and ATMs. But the rooms are conjusted, neatness average, Food average, but of course the price is very reasonable. A lot of foreigners are seen staying there but the street leading to the hotel is not good. More » « Hide

The room was very neat and clean with hot water, TV and all necessary facilities. The hotel was centrally located and it was only a walkable distance to the Botanical Gardens, the beauty of Ooty. It was very easy for go for shopping as the one of the main streets is in front of the hotel. The hotel has two restaurants served with delicious vegetarian (Jain) food.
