This is 'the' beach to go to. Unspoilt, yet with many facilities and well developed; Palolem beach is a one a kind place for people on relaxed mindset holidays. The beach looks like a bay with two islands, white sand and blue water. And right behind you the lush green palm trees! Wow! Another good thing about South Goa is that unlike North Goa you can wear a two piece bikini or even a thong without hearing people whistling or staring you down. The reason for that is simple. The rowdy Bombay people barely come there and if they do, it's in small numbers, and in small numbers they lose their ability to tease girls or to act stupid because they get scared to face the consequences. Plus there are no night clubs, and those people need to get wasted off alcohol all night to feel like heroes! So it's definitely not their spot. More » |
