Well..we finalized our resort to ambassador resorts after thorough research over net.. I am not... .. Well..we finalized our resort to ambassador resorts after thorough research over net.. I am not biased here and writing my review solely on my experiences after having the experience of staying in lot of different places... I must admit, I had some imagination of this place beforehand and the place lived up to my expectations.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here from the word go.. The resort is situated slightly out of the manali town and it gives an amazing view of the mountains surrounding..We were there in the month of October and the climate was just right..we could see the snow on top of the mountains from the balcony and Rohtang had just experienced fresh layer of snow... Snow reflected multiple vibrant colors and it changed every minute!!!! I want to stress about the location of the resort here again..it is beautifully located.. We could here the beas flowing and it was just amazing... Rooms are beautifully done and are spotless...extremely clean and neat... wooden floor and nicely done bathrooms would give you fantastic value for money and ensure you hassle free and comfortable stay...and my clean freak wife was grinning from ear to ear.. Service also was good and service boys used to respond quickly to our needs.. Room package included breakfast and dinner also and I must admit it was very healthy and delicious..In fact we were waiting for eating time..:-D I would suggest this place for anybody and guarantee that they would enjoy every minute here.... We started our jurney from Bangalore and reached this place after nearly 4.5 hours. Not that the... .. We started our jurney from Bangalore and reached this place after nearly 4.5 hours. Not that the place is very far but the roads are at their worst in some stretches.. To reach the place we have to travel around 8-9 Kms from main road, which itself will take around 45 min.. Our cars started crying while descending the hills to reach this resort. But the view of the valley was amazing and the driving was pleasure except that our cars got some scratches. But once we reached the place it was worth it. The place was beautiful. Cauvery was flowing with majesticity in the valley, sorrounded by geenish hills. Tents were stone throw away distance form the Cauvery overlooking the beauty of the river. We went for trekking and walked on the banks of cauvery, accompaniedby a trained guide for abt 4-5 Kms and came back and it was a wonderful experience. Food was good and tasty, staff was polite and helping.Tents were neat. Boating was extremely good.Camp fire was superb. They served us Grilled chicken and we enjoyed the moment. dinner was also good. But in the nigt we had to carry lanterns around since there is no lightings in the tents. It was fun for us and real wild experience. Good night.. Morning was beautiful and we lazed around the bank of cauvery for some time.. then we had breakfast and left the place by afternoon... Again we had to ascend the hill. Many hotels in Goa are overrated... It is supposed to be a 3 star hotel..but it doesn\'t... .. Many hotels in Goa are overrated... It is supposed to be a 3 star hotel..but it doesn\'t deserve even a single star. I felt the hotels here target only the foreign customers and charge unreasonable prices.. atleast the hotels we encountered... Place is full of cheating agents if we go near to the places like candolin, calanghute and we should be very careful before making any choices.. They have given nice photoes hre but in reality they are not good at all.. Somehow the things are not organised properly.. don\'t go by the photoes these people put here in pages.. get to know about the place through friends or relatives or anybody.. More » « Hide

It was a pathetic experience here. We were initiall told that it is a 2 star+ resort(nealry 3... .. It was a pathetic experience here. We were initiall told that it is a 2 star+ resort(nealry 3 star). When I reached the place from Bangalore, I was really horrified at seeing the place. Oh man..it was so dirty and unprofessional..we fought with travel agent..who is part of nexus who cheat customers and chnaged the location. More » « Hide
