Shimla is now everything a hill station should not be........all of Shimla is a construction..... Shimla is now everything a hill station should not be........all of Shimla is a construction site.......with traffic jams.........horrible and dirty Areas like Mashobra etc near Shimla are the saving grace.....they are still unspoilt by tourists with excellent forest cover and really make up for the disappointment that Shimla is! Glasshouse on the Ganges is actually located on the Ganges..........this is the BIG plus for this... .. Glasshouse on the Ganges is actually located on the Ganges..........this is the BIG plus for this property...........just sitting on the banks of the Ganges watching the rafters pass, listening to the water flowing, and of course marvelling at how clean the Ganga is at this level...........the experience was marvellous....really calming and soothing to both mind and body!
