I was there 21 years ago and I just left Chennai on 24/1/2011 after 4 days of stay. Apart from some new buildings, the roads are still the same old dirty, dusty, full of potholes and full of rubbish. I was in T Nagar, around Kumaran Silk store, the roads were stinking!!! That probably is the reason why it is also a breeding ground for mosquitoes. More » |

Was impressed with the rooms. We had food poisoning eating at the restaurant in the hotel and that ruined my whole stay in india. My wife and I was rudely awakened by noises of dragging and knocking pocelain from 3.30am till 6.30am. When I complained to the front desk I was told that there was no repair works during that time. Room 301 did not have attached buildings either. My daughter who stayed in Room 305 also felt something strange in her room. Erry.... I asked for the manager to make a complaint at 8.30am but he was not in and never bothered to contact me back (apparently the hotel did not have a manager but have a managing director) I checked out at about 2pm.
