Food was the best part and the way to the destination especially from dharwad to dandeli was horrible. 48 km distance took almost 2 hours drive, and lots of pot holes. Surrounding scenery around the jungle lodges requires special mention, being on the banks of river kali felt close to nature. Jungle safari was good in the scenery aspect and the drivers were excellently cooperative explaining many things during the safari. But, dont go in search of animals as we found deers, one jackal, one peacock and some domesticated animals. It was not difference from any jungle safari i have previously taken including madhumalai or thekadi where i did not find any. The view point in the jungle safari was the best part, and i have not seen such a scenery till date. Coracle ride is good, but is available in many places, sp does not require special mention. Camp fire, was liked by my son the most and we loved the barbeque around it. We missed out on nature walk, trekking and white water rafting due to time constraint. we do plan to go back there.
