Simply Wonder full. Only bunglow probably , so inside the forest and will have 90 % guaranteed... .. Simply Wonder full. Only bunglow probably , so inside the forest and will have 90 % guaranteed encounter with wild. I was hearing about the place for 4 years to finally decided to book it. It is easy as this place is the first choice of any travelers to Dooars. It is difficult to explain my experience.There was a full WAR just in front of your Room between a heard of 12 Elephants, 3 Bison and 4 Rihno with Cubs AND we are watching it through our window upto 3.30 AM. The Bunglow was almost occupied by the Govt Servants till Last year , when Tourist Dept has taken a decision not to allow Govt Occupancy more than 2 Rooms a Day. Now Tourists can take the Benifit of this Bunglow , which was the Best Choice of Ex WB Chief Minister \' Jyoti Basu\'. There is a Saltpit just before the Bunglow , where Animals come to to lick the salt AND the SaltPit is just 100 meters away from your Window. Take best of your Camaras ( if with Night Vision ). Travelers used to avoid Raichak , because of it\'s expensive Lodging. Only option was Fort... .. Travelers used to avoid Raichak , because of it\'s expensive Lodging. Only option was Fort Redission ( Rs. 7500/Night). Now a New addition Ganga Kuthir ( Rs. 12000/Night). Lastly you have a comfortable staying option as Fort raichak ( Rs. 4000/ Banglow / Night ) . 2 rooms are there. 4 person can stay( 2 Beds). Yo have 1 Microwave, 1 Fridge , plates and bowls. Best is , cook your lunch at home and carry it. Dinner you take at Resort (Rs.400). There is a Small shop , where you can find rice , bred , butter , biscuits in normal price. Best part is , you can utilize the facility of Radission as well as Ganga Kuthir. Spend the afternoon at swimming pool of redission and evening at Ganga Kuthir. Mt. Nursing has two resorts- The Main Resort and the Aneexture one. Main Resort is located 3 Km... .. Mt. Nursing has two resorts- The Main Resort and the Aneexture one. Main Resort is located 3 Km from Rabong Bazar on the way to Rabong - pelling Route. ( it is 2 hr Drive from Gangtok) which is having 3-4 Rooms. The Main Attraction is Annexture resort , which just Top of the Hill. You need to drive a Steave Road of 1 KM to reach the Annexture. Wonderfull place. This is third time I am visiting Sikkim and almost covered all the good resorts , sikkim hosts. Mt. Nursing undoughtably the No.1. View of kanchanjungha and Mt Narsing is wonderfull from this place. Visit in Oct to March. April - May season is good , but the view will depend on the Cloud. More » « Hide

Overall a good resort.It takes about 20 min to reach University by cycle rickshaw. Resort front... .. Overall a good resort.It takes about 20 min to reach University by cycle rickshaw. Resort front desk arranges for same. Resort ambience is nice. Lot of birds. Food is good. Specially the Bengali style. Pick up is costlier. They change Rs.300/- for pick up and drop. Which I thing can be managed within 100 bucks. As lot of trees are there, one needs to carry mosquito mats. One can book the hotel from their Kolkata office, which is near Passport office at Kolkata. Nothing much nearby the resort to roam around. If you are traveling in groups , they can arrange the Boul performances there. More » « Hide
