When foreigners prefer to come to India as tourists, being indians, it is our utmost duty to showcase our rich flora, fauna and grandeur. Located amidst pristine surroundings, jungle lodge resort has carved a niche for itself. It is difficult to believe, it is run by a semi govt company. You are for a pleasant shock. Everything is so professional. Courteous staff ever ready to serve with a smile, clean and spacious rooms, spic and span dining hall, very tasty buffet food, a decent well stacked bar, eco friendly items etc. More » « Hide

The hotel is centrally and ideally located and a great location for shopping. (Hubbies beware!) All the showrooms selling corals, pearls and shells and articrafts are lined opposite the Hotel within a distance of 200 mts. including the Govt. one - the Sagarika. The rooms are neat and clean and the ambience is good. The staff are friendly and serve with a smile. The food is pallatable (breakfast free - a decent buffet with an option of a great lemon tea) and if one wants to step outside, the options are plenty within a walking distance. The bar is well stacked (my wife is staring) and tariff is reasonable. Since the hotel is in the heart of the city, rooms are not sea facing, but that is a blessing in disguise. After exhausting oneself in the beaches, one would actually look forward to relaxing in a room with family. For recreation, one has to watch the TV only; but for bookaholics, Dist. Central Library is closeby (100 mt in the same row) More » « Hide
