Eclectic furnishings, but somehow they work well to give a delightful stay. Our rooms were very clean and tidy, and the marble floors with inlay throughout were extra nice, especially at the budget rate. The beach is just outside the back of the hotel -- a short walk. But the pool is even closer, and we found ourselves hanging out there the most -- and reading in the hammock, under the palms! Don't get too excited about the 'free botttle of wine on checkin' however....it was a small bottle of Indian-made Port (in honor of the Goa). It was not to our liking -- but everything else about the room was great. The bed was incredibly comfortable -- among the most comfy nights we've had in a hotel in India over the past year!
Very freindly staff did not mind us arriving early and staying late -- because all rooms were booked, we could not use our room early and late, but we were welcome to hang around the pool or lobby.\
Lovely place -- though if going to Goa again, I would lik choose South Goa over Candolim.
