Me and my husband had gone to Thailand for our honeymoon earlier this year and its a funny story..... Me and my husband had gone to Thailand for our honeymoon earlier this year and its a funny story how we landed in Burasari in the first place. Our agent from India checked us into another resort by the name of Devana Patong where we had the worst experience of our lives, we were not given the deluxe room with jacuzzi as we had asked for an paid for, from India and more over the resort staff was very hostile towards us...we bore with them for 5 days and after we could take it no more we decided to check out.... Then we happened to be suggested Burasari resort by our agent back home and as soon as we pulled in with our luggage, my husband and I looked at each other and hugged so tight and knew that this was the place to be.... The staff was delightful and they gave us the top room, the mood room FREE OF ANY EXTRA COST whereas we had paid for a much lower room, this was because we had told them that we were on our honeymoon and we had already had a nasty experience at the start of our trip... Just as we entered our room 'Sweet Dream' there was a heart made with Orchids and two beautiful swans made with towels which made a heart with their necks...The service was awesome and the cafe run by Keith Floyd needs no introduction...the pool in the premises was lovely, covered by trees and there was absolute privacy and peace as one desired.... The resort is located very close to the beach so we would walk down to the beach, head to Bangla street and have fun in the evenings and were always met with smiling faces whenever we came back home, irrespective of the time.... When it was time to leave we wanted to thank the manager in person for instrumenting the success of our nearly disastrous honeymoon because of Devana Patong and making it the most beautiful holiday of our new found lives...but for some reason we could not meet with her...I hope some day she will read this and be happy that she and her staff are doing a damn good job of being hospitable to the people who visit the resort from far and wide... We loved the place and talk of it fondly and would love to go back there whenever we plan to go back to Phuket and it is a must visit for all those who are looking for a lovely vacation and relaxation to the fullest :) More » « Hide

Its amazing how even today there are places that are not JUST another hotel but have so much of... .. Its amazing how even today there are places that are not JUST another hotel but have so much of personal involvement with the guests, taking all the pains right from your arrival to the hotel till the time you depart... Mrs. Anu Singh who is a very kind host, was very helpful in planning our holiday, not only was she available at all times whether we wanted to know what places to see, what to do and all the necessary advice one could ask for but she also planned various short trips and outings for us at our request. The food is really nice, its up to the mark that one would expect out of a place like this. What was truly impressive was how Mrs. Singh and her staff took care of all of us, a group of 15 people, of varied ages and different interests... We really loved the place, the food, the scenic beauty and the personal involvement of the Heiress and the staff which goes out of their way to make the guests feel home away from home...A must visit for one and all...Kudos Mrs. Anu Singh!!!!
