We had a very nice chilled out time, but that would have been the case anywhere in Goa :-). The... .. We had a very nice chilled out time, but that would have been the case anywhere in Goa :-). The resort itself is very spacious, large pools, good activities for kids. The rooms themselves were quite small, so if you have kids make sure you spend as much time out on the property as possible. Service was also just about average, there were electrical and plumbing problems in the room which took quite a long time to resolve. The buffet also was pretty chaotic in the morning, we were eating lunch and dinner outside, there are some very nice places just outside which give beautiful seafood. Bottomline, go there for the location, keep the kids entertained outside the room, and enjoy Goa. More » « Hide

Apparently recently renovated and looks the part. The overall resort look is very nice, with very good views over the tea gardens and a reservoir in the distance. They have a nice game room for kids to keep themselves entertained, and lots of green space to run around and explore. Food is standard timeshare fare, fixed buffets with not much imagination, will fill your stomach but not much more. We didnt take up any of the planned excursions, but heard from others that they were quite well organized and worth it. More » « Hide

This is a nice quiet resort located quite near Kalpetta. So it was quite convenient getting... .. This is a nice quiet resort located quite near Kalpetta. So it was quite convenient getting there, the last stretch is a bad road, but this is a very short stretch. The USP of this place is the location. It is located on the hillside and has a really beautiful view of Chembra Peak. All the rooms have the same brilliant view. Rooms themselves are quite basic, but the view makes up for it. Food is also good, traditional Kerala food made well. There is a small stream flowing thru the property, good to take a dip in. We spent New years there and had a good time. Its a basic resort so no fancy facilities, good value for money. More » « Hide

This is an ideal place to go to if you want to stay away from the maddening crowd of Ooty. The... .. This is an ideal place to go to if you want to stay away from the maddening crowd of Ooty. The route to the estate is also very scenic, and we all enjoyed the drive from Ooty to O'land. The USP is the estate itself is the location. Pretty small place, just 3 cottages, but located right on top of a hill with views to die for ! They also have some small treks and a couple of small waterfalls within the resort, so very nice place to go to with active children. Overall we really enjoyed the place. More » « Hide

The location in a sheltered cove makes the sea very calm. We had a 4-year old and a 7-month old with us, so the only agenda was to relaaaax, and this was a perfect destination for that :). Pure white sand, very gentle waves, my 4-year old could play completely by himself. The resort itself is quite high end in terms of amenites and service is great. Transfer is very easy since the airstrip (reely small one) has a Berjaya Air flight landing, so owned by the same company. More » « Hide
