This is a white sand beach with cool breezes and clear water. Ideal place to visit for a short break. One can stay for 2 days since 1 night travel from Mumbai is likely to be a little hectic. The hotel only appears to look good on the website. We checked in the hotel and managed to get a... .. The hotel only appears to look good on the website. We checked in the hotel and managed to get a cottage room. Since it was the month of January we opted for a NON AC room for which the tariff was Rs. 2400 inclusive of Luxury Tax. The furniture in the room had dust settled all over it for which we had to call the cleaning biys. Also there are only 3 cottages (1 out of which is not available since it is in a rumbled situation). The other two are just next to the wash rooms which does not make it a worth staying experience. The shower in the room was not working so also the taps of the wash basin. The food though was good and tasty - specially the Prwans tawa fry which we had ordered were very fresh. There is not much you can do since the beach is also not very near. For staying a good option would be Nivara Niwas which is bang opposite this resort which was extremely clean. However I am not very sure about the service since this is run by a senior citizen couple. More » « Hide
