I took a Private bus at around 11:30 AM from ISBT, Kashmiri Gate, Delhi but haven\'t booked any hotel at Haridwar. I reached their around 6: 45 or 7:00 pm (as the bus stuck in Highway Traffic) and it was all dark outside. After coming down from the bus their was a rickshaw puller came up to me and asked to take his services to reach my staying destination and then I decided to inquire about any decent budget hotel nearby the banks of River Ganga. So he taken me to the Hotel Aditiya which was looking so nice and decent in its appearance. Hence, it was not a very big hotel but when I entered to the Hotel I found it was very clean and well maintained with a transparent glass elevators. Couple of people sitting at counter were welcomed warmly and asked me what kind of room I\'m looking for and showed me the room before booking it. I thanked to the rickshaw puller and gave him his part of tip he asked. the room was not so big but it was very well decorated and was having all basic facilities in it. More » « Hide

Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar

It was like WOW and amazing situation not only for me but definitely also for those who were experienced that 1st time.,.... I am talking about some small pieces of land all surrounded by the green colored sea water. After the journey of around 1hr and 40 mins, I was actually flying over that place of which I read and heard a lot in my school times. It was resembled like after making a green dish someone has sprinkled those small small Islands into it and again garnished them with some green leafs. Then the plane landed at the Vir Savarkar Airport of Portblair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. I took a Taxi arranged by my hotel \'Shah-n-Shah\' and reached to the Hotel. Because I was only on a 3 days short trip, I decided to go for the city tour same day for which I hired the same Taxi. First I visited to the Samudrika Museum where I saw many different spices of corals and increased my knowledge about them. A small shop is also their inside the Samudrika premises where you can purchase some oceanic items for memories. But I found it bit costly so I moved ahead to the other tourist point which was the famous Cellular Jail. All Indians knows very well the history behind Cellular Jail. Now a days it is a hot spot for every tourist visiting Andaman but before Independence it was known as \'Kala Pani Jail\', a place known for the brutal behavior of British authorities against Indian revolutionary people. The dark and damp 13\' X 6\' small cells, Iron grills, chains, fetters, shackles, flogging stands, coconut oil making equipments, Gallows were the true evidences of those terrible punishments given by the Britishers. Overall I loved the my whole trip of Portblair and If I again get a chance, I\'ll definitely avail that one. :-) More » « Hide

In the preparations of my trip of Andaman, the first thing I did was - searched a Economical budget hotel. For which I browsed several sites with the help of google.com and cleared my doubts on holidayiq.com. I took a list of budget hotels, called and asked them their updated charges details and offering amenities. I requested them to provide the pictures of their rooms and Hotel\'s view from outside. I felt some good vibes while communicating with the owner of Shah-n-Shah Hotel who was also offered a nice deal as compare to others... And I decided to book that hotel. For booking they just took my words and didn\'t asked me to pay any advance booking amount. I also requested them to provide me a Taxi for Airport pickup. They given their best they can and tried to make my trip more comfortable as they can. More » « Hide

You reached into your Hotel with a big relief that you are safe now and slept with the driving memories. Next day you woke up early for you morning jungle safari,....you are feeling the morning cold breeze... some street dogs barking at you,...a chaiwala(tea maker) is making tea at the road side,..some half opened shops,....then you step up to a open Mahindra Jeep,......adventure starts,..... jeep running on a narrow road ,..... local villages staring at you,...you are njoying the morning freezing breeze,.... some agricultural land come in between,.....just then a small cat/ dog sized animal crossed your way and you are trying to recognize him,....then your driver tells you that, Sir - it was a fox,....and the thrill starts,.... you say yourself - yes, now the jungle adventure begins,......you increased your concentration,.... driver is guiding you that do not shout or scream in front of any animal,.....and you are listening him very carefully ,........a river came in between with low stream but high in pressure,......no worries,...you are on a 4 x 4 jeep,...... now, deep bushes starts and you are carefully examining every thing coming in your way,...because of the deep forest, your ears are more attentive then your eyes,.... Abruptly, Driver applied a sudden break....you asked him - What happened,..... He said - Shhhhh,..... and reversed the jeep a little bit,.... pointing his finger to a big tree\'s trunk,... showing a tiger\'s paw mark on around 6ft height.,...... I think, it is well enough to increase your interest to this place,......for the rest you should visit this awesome place,........ It is my personal unforgettable experience ,......
