A resort located away from market. It is difficult to get an autoriksha ,if you wish to go to market. The road to main road from the reception counter is very steep uphill & I will advice heart patients NOT to take this stress test.
The rooms are spacious. The top floor suits give you an experience of staying under a staircase! Thanks to the slopping roof! Beware,your head may touch it in some corners!![Practically it won\'t]
The furniture ,plumbing & electrical connections need better attention & quality.I had to complain about all these.They rectified most of it,but the bitter impression remains.Even the design & material of sofa : not comfortable.
Some rooms have wooden flooring but those without should have carpet,since it is Manali & supposedly 4 star property.
If you have stayed in a 4 star property earlier you will know the difference.It is like gold plated can not match gold. This resort is \'gold plated\'. The room rating will go up if they reduce the room rates significantly. I thought it was not \'value for money\'.
The travel desk is bound to take its share of profit.However,local taxi union gave me very good service from the resort door step.It worked out to be much cheaper.
The food was undoubtedly good.Buffet menu for breakfast & dinner was 4 star category.The taste was good.
The good open garden space needs to be looked after.Barren ill maintened gardens mar the overall impression. It will do the resort immense good if they dispose off the kitchen waste in a more hyeginic manner & away from the sight of [& noses of ] the visitors. The TV connection was faulty.
