We chose this lovely resort as we did not want to go to the city.We wanted to relax and swim and... .. We chose this lovely resort as we did not want to go to the city.We wanted to relax and swim and there\'s nothing more perfect than this place for that.The drive from Delhi is a dream--even I drove for 80kms or so after long. My husband & I are not very fond of Indian cuisine...we got delicious grilled,bakes and pastas made to our taste. There were plenty of freah salad and fruits for the health freaks.The buffet was excellent too.The kids gorged on delicous icecream with chocolate sauce specially made. The chef made a special Rajasthani dish in the buffet after we asked for it as well. The staff was courteous and very helpful.Rooms were large and comfortable.Besides swimming,one could cycle,play chess,carrom & ludo on huge tables,or hit the gym.In the evenings one could play cricket in their huge sprawling lawns.There was nothing which was not taken care of. In fact my husband extended our stay for one more day and we loved every moment. I only wish their outdoor Restaurant Corbett was functional this time of the year --it is beautiful. I would recommend it to any Delhi-ite for a short break. if you still desperately want to go to Jaipur its hardly 10 kms away. Its worth a visit let me tell you More » « Hide

My family ( My husband & 2 kids)and I went for New years this year (3Oth Dec2005-2nd Jan 06),and were lucky to get the family cottage. Having gone to Mussorie countless times this was a lovely experience.It was far from the maddening crowd of New Year--which Delhi-ite doesnt want that and yet if we wanted we could just drive up to the mall 2 km away-ideal location. The New year party was in the open- fun ,music, food drinks and all included in the package which was v reasonable compared to the exhorbidant amount it goes upto on 31st Dec all over the world.We were well looked after.The view was awesome. The only letdown was that the cuisine was too typiclly Indian-we love variety in our food. But overall it was lovely.Oh they even gave away prizes to stay free in their other Country Inn Resorts ! We wanted a Resort by the sea side comfortable for a family of four-my husband me and my 2 kids... .. We wanted a Resort by the sea side comfortable for a family of four-my husband me and my 2 kids -13 and 10yrs.CSM was perfect-right on the clean and beautiful Baga Beach.We had a full floor of the cottage to ourselves(two large rooms) It was just 2 minutes walk to the beach and the Shack.Though we went off season (Aug 2005) the permanent shack there called The Buzz was more than sufficient to keep us happy-the fishermen caught live fish in front of us and cooked it as we wanted -also they had bar be cues by night -live and lively! We were never pesterd by the women selling their trinklets and scarves unless we wanted to. It felt as if the beach belonged to us as there was no unnecessary crowd-only serious sun bathers (foreigners) and families. During the day there was surfing boards and Jet Ski-ing offered to those who wanted to use them as well as Tattoo-painting..simply awesome. More » « Hide
