Good greenery all around with all sorts of plants, flowers and what not, sure will be a loved place for the botanist. No vehicles are allowed into the resort only a few battery operated cars will ferry the tourists to the front office where your booking formalities are done and you are transported to the villa allotted to you in the same battery car, which is a smooth affair. The villas are made to taste with well maintained gardens all around. You have a free Wifi in the villas which allows you to stay connected. Provided with bicycles to go around the resort. There is a club house which has all the amenities needed for a getaway. A synthetic jogging track for those who want to have a morning jog to the tune of Buddham Sharanam Gachami is a real beauty. A cricket pitch a basket ball court a tennis court and a badminton court are all there for you to enjoy. A wonderful pool welcomes you to have a plunge. Restaurant is just adjacent to the pool which allows snacks to be served on the deck on for those who wish so. The restaurant is a decent one with most of the variety available. There are 2 private pools to be booked if you do not want to be disturbed by others one of which has a jacuzzi. There is a wonderful collection of fishes which will surely fascinate the children Be prepared to travel for about 30 kms form Railway station and 40 kms from airport to get to this beautiful weekend getaway which surely will soothe you. In fact all the places here in Havelock are the same, just on the sea shore no one to disturb you from the nature. Cell phone network is there but the signals are weak and the net does not connect very well due to the low bandwidth in the entire Andamans. So no facebook or whatsapp only water, silver sand and coconut trees all around you. The rooms are good, spacious and decent enough. The only bad thing was there was no hot water. Staff are very courteous and very very helpful, there would be no deficiency of service on their part and I would vouch for that. Food is decent enough, not a huge variety but tastes good. As for the other activities there is nothing much in the resort but the staff are very helpful in arranging for the water sports activities. The other guests had put up a bon fire in the evening which I thought was not a good idea as all the rooms are made of wood. A spark from it could have triggered a major mishap. Though what I say now is not related to the review of the Hotel I am putting it here because even if one or two person who reads this review to the end do not litter with plastic bags, bottles or disposable glasses to save this one place at least from plastic. I think we should be more responsible and not the authorities forcing the rules on us, felt sad on seeing heaps of disposable glasses on the shores. More » « Hide

The ghat road is well maintained and you have a lot of view points to stop by and enjoy the mother nature. Can see the preparation of jaggery in the sugarcane fields on the road side. More » « Hide
