As advertised \' Nature Craft - A home away from home \' has lived up to its name. This vacation was planned well in advance and my idea was to have a relaxed and stress free stay.
Being my 1st anniversary I wanted something off the limelight, have a laid back and nonchalant vacation gelled with my anniversary.
This was my 1st venture ever into trying a home stay. Was a wee bit perplexed on the whole idea of a home stay. You know the usual questions keep taunting you if you could ever the kind of service what you get at the star hotels.
Having spoken to a few close knit friends about other home stays around Karnataka I was conjured on to believe that the service not being upto the mark and then every single thing you wanted to would have to wait. Not every single time could PATIENCE be the mother of all VIRTUES ;-) . I would blow the roof if I never got service against what I paid for and no exceptions here.
Naturecraft made sure my perceptions took a backseat in terms of quality of service and the ambiance provided.
I went on to enjoy my sojourn in Chikmagalur staying at this very place for 3 full days. Life was basic with very little to worry aboutand Ansar just a call away for absolutely anything.
The Zahoor\'s have been absolutely unconditional and plenary in taking that extra effort and providing whatever is required for the guests to ensure that they have a comfortable stay.
The taste of Ansar\'s mother\'s biriyani and his wife\'s chicken curry still lingers on our taste buds. Food generally comes at a premium at regular hotels and this was something out of the world to be experienced. I aint exaggerating but then visit the place once atleast for their hospitality in terms of involvement from the whole family and for the food.
We were given a chance to take a peek into Ansar\'s and his dad\'s workshop in the old dilapidated building which is no longer functional. I think the Zahoor\'s should start this back on sooner or later.Add\'s to the charm of the place and also would make for an interesting lesson to the visitors as to what it takes to make such stuff.
I wont comment on the place, its rooms and cleanliness. I am adding a few pics and you can check for yourselves.
Disclaimer Note : Please note if you think my review is biased, I am nowhere associated with Nature Craft or its people. My review is purely based on my experience with a home stay.
