Yelagiri is a place to be at for an ideal weekend hideaway. I didn\'t realise how the hectic schedule at work slipped out of my head during the weekend I was there. Zeenath Taj is THE place to stay at if that\'s what you are there for.
My wife and I are just back from Yelagiri and our stay at Zeenath Taj.
Hospitality not defined in Hotel Management course is what you experience there. You wouldn\'t spot a beautiful waitress or a smart steward there; but the team out there are doing an outstanding job to keep the feel intact in the resort. The ambience is just right for a weekend hideaway. You don\'t have to step out of the resort to enjoy the visit; you get it all there.
The room was cosy and cool and I don\'t think they have anything but cottages there. One of the guys there took us out on trekking to a cliff nearby. The trek was amazing. The food they serve was amazing, especially the breakfast. It was all homely food and traditional menu. My wife and I were chating late night on the swing in front of our cottage. The flock of geese was a special attraction and made the place more rich.
I recommend this place; but set your expectations right; you are not at a luxury hotel
