We reached Gulmarg from Pahalgam by taxi at 2pm. We took up Gondola ride, with the advise of taxi..... We reached Gulmarg from Pahalgam by taxi at 2pm. We took up Gondola ride, with the advise of taxi driver, we hired guide. He charged Rs 500 plus a gondola ticket as his charges. we spent only 1 hour up on the heights. The restaurants are charging exuberantly. I advise not to hire guide, this is not worthspending. after gondola ride we went to our booked hotel. In the morning we had a walk around the Natural Golf Course with lush green, violet coloured naturally self grown florals surrounded by ice cladded mountains, this is enjoying and worth. I advise to wear full sleeved shirts, with no woolens. you will get sunburns if you move around in the day. More » « Hide

Never to stay here, NOthing to highlight, Location of the hotel is good. It is not easy to search... .. Never to stay here, NOthing to highlight, Location of the hotel is good. It is not easy to search this hotel as there is no hotel board on outer exterior of the hotel. In the background of hotel you find a scenic beauty ,ice cladded mountains with water spring. WE PAID RS 6000 for one double bedded deluxe room including morning tea, breakfast, Dinner. the caretaker staff were sleeping upto 8am and they did not responds to call bell. tea was not served. Dinner did not include mineral water. food was not prepared and served well. I do not recommend any body to stay here even if you are promised free stay. There was broken furniture as you see in the picture photos. The manager is also discourtious. Do not include breakfast & dinner in your package. More » « Hide
