The heritage experience is very good. Its an old 100 year old Chettiar house converted into a... .. The heritage experience is very good. Its an old 100 year old Chettiar house converted into a hotel. The house itself is very cute. But the Welcome Heritage name is just a tag. The service is honest but not professional. The front office manager also acts as the restaurant manager etc. The staff is also very polite and eager to help you but are not well trained. There is only one retaurant with one waiter. Surprisingly...the number of cooks is more than the waiters! But the food is good. Over all it was a nice experience only because of the heritage tag to it. It was a good experience overall. Good value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful.... .. It was a good experience overall. Good value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property overall is great and the grounds are vast and well maintained. Internally, the passages etc heve pain peeling off in some places and also some damp spots etc which should not be the case considering thats its supposed to be a 5 star delux property, no wonder that its rates are so resonable as compared to other top hotels in Goa like the Taj, Leela, Hyatt etc. The food is very average, not in terms of the variety but the flavor.
