We arrived at 4am in an unknown city and it was a great comfort to find the hotel bang opposite... .. We arrived at 4am in an unknown city and it was a great comfort to find the hotel bang opposite the Madras Central station. At that hour also checking into the fairly large, meticulously clean room was a great relief after a 28 hour journey from Kolkata. I stayed for 20 days at this hotel...long enough to throw up any chinks in the armor, but their service has been close to perfect. Everything from Rooms to Restaurants to Conference rooms to Laundry has been explored and found to be good. Location is a 15 minute walk from Bangalore city station and Majestic bus stand, very convenient. Even if you want to go to the Airport 35 km away there is a Volvo bus route that runs through the next lane an d there are buses every 10 minutes. More » « Hide

Shubham is by far the best hotel to be in Chanipur. We had stayed at the Panthanivas on the... .. Shubham is by far the best hotel to be in Chanipur. We had stayed at the Panthanivas on the previous occasion and were disgusted with the poor service and bland food there. So we used to dine at Shubham anyway. Shubham also has the only AC restaurant in Chandipur, and the food will bring a smile to your face. You have to order a couple of hours in advance though to get the best out of them. More » « Hide
