Beautiful weather, plenty of sunshine, moderate cold, my favourite Maruti 800, and four lane NH33 and G.T. Road gave me a pleasant ride. My car was running on G.T. road like a racing horse. Smooth, no vibration at all. We got plenty of fog at Ramgarh. But the ride was awesome. All the temples in Bodhgaya are neat, clean and place of peace. Mahabodhi temple in evening was looking like a heaven. I don't have enough words to describe the serenity of the place. You will just feel it. Only one thing I didn't like in Bodhgaya is food. No hotel can make tasty food. Overall any one can be happy after visiting Bodhgaya. More » « Hide

As the road condition of Pardih chowk to Chandil is pathetic we took Adityapur -Kandra route and reached Chandil at 5:45am. From Chandil to Namkum, the entire stretch is pathetic, full of potholes and nightmare of any driver. I don\\\'t know what the Jharkhand government is doing in this sector. Anyway we reached Ranchi around 8:45 to 9:00am. We took a small tea break and then moved to Ramgarh. Ranchi to Ramgarh - Hazaribag, this entire stretch of NH33, driving can be really easy. You have to pay Rs.55/- as toll. Near Barhi again road condition is bad. Once you reach G.T. Road you can drive your car as you wish. The roads are really good. You have to pay Rs.60/- again to cross a toll booth. The junction of Dobhi more and G.T. road is bad; entire Dobhi road is single road but smooth. The Domuhan road also smooth and good for driving. We reached Bodhgaya at 3:30pm. More » « Hide

It is nice hotel under supervision of Bihar State Tourism corporation. This hotel situated in an ideal Location on the Bodhgaya main road. Maha Bodhi Temple is just few steps ahead. Hardly 5 minutes by walking. Tourist help center is adjacent the hotel. It is a budget hotel. They took Rs.1500/- per night for double bed A/c room with 24hrs. hot water facility & room heater facility. They have a separate restaurant. But the taste of the food is not so good. In fact, I didn't find any tasty food in Bodhgaya. Overall the hotel is good, clean and staffs are helpful. More » « Hide

Very well behaved staff and excellent customer care round the clock. Though the location of the hotel is bit inside from Marine drive but you can watch sea from the balcony as the hotel is diagonally erected. every room has a separate balcony. Rooms are quite good. A small garden is an advantage for kids to play. More » « Hide
