Deciding to goto The Resort was very impulsive more than anything, me and my husband just came across this hotel and we were like Ok Lets go for it! Our decision was much based on the first impression we got of this hotel through their website, it looked quite presentable, then we followed up by giving them a call to check the availability, and we spoke to a good and pleasing person over the phone and we thought its going to be a good place to set for. So finally we settled in for a honeymoon suite for us to celebrate our anniversary, we were excited about it, until we go to the journey part of it, first of all Mumbai\'s traffic is terrible and on top of that it was a long journey from Khar to Madh Marve, it took almost 3hrs for us to get there in that grueling heat and road bumps in the taxi, so by the time we reached we were exhausted and our excitement had sunk a bit. But the welcome to green lawns and fresh sea breeze was a bit relieving, then we headed onto the reception to check in and that was quite a disappointment because we were made to wait for like 2hours before we got our room and that was due to unavailability of flowers to decorate our room with. We had no other choice left so we thought of exploring the place till we got to our room, and we walked to the lawns towards the pool, the sight was quite pleasing, the pool was overlooking the sea-side and the breeze was comforting, after exploring things quite a bit, we went back to the reception to check if our room was done, they still did not finish it, so we had to wait another hour, and we thought to catch up on our lunch till then, so we headed to their restaurant, it was full of corporate people lunching together, hence we found a quiet corner for ourselves, went through the Menu, but finally we settled in for the Buffet they had, and it was actually good, they had lot of varieties on and the dessert was relishing. So after our great lunch e headed to the reception and thank god it was for the final time, we finally were allowed to take our room! The room was good over-all and ofcourse since their florist was on leave that day, we did not get our room decorated with real flowers instead they had done it with plastic ones, so much so for waiting! Anyways the room\'s cozy atmosphere was comforting more than anything else. So we had a relaxing time there. We spent our evening playing badminton in the lawn and the next morning was followed by taking a dive in the pool, it was pretty well maintained and it was good fun just relaxing under the shade of the trees the rest of the day. And that was the end of a relaxing and a romantic anniversary celebration.
