I have been spending considerable time in Indore, and have stayed over 130 Room nights at Sayaji, in the last 18 months. I rate the Hotel as one of the best I have stayed in. The staff take care of my every single need. They have my full profile and ensure that its fulfilled completely, including putting fresh Red roses in my room. Its become like my second home. Friendly, helpful , good food and drinks, and a lot of activities . More » « Hide

Can be a good road for people to learn driving on hill roads.Have a person who knows hill driving to tell the rules and courtesies. Dont forget to Strap up. Seat Belts save lives. The moment you reach summit, you see boards of Hotels , Hotels and more Hotels, this is what this place is all about. Some how the old charm of tribals and their villages and customs, have all been destroyed and today it has become like a housing colony. The Temp has increased atleast by 5 deg in the last 15 years. The Hotel is at one of the highest points of this hill ( calling it hills is not right, Yelagiri is just a C shaped out crop from the planes see Hybrid view in Google Maps). We went in very late, as we did not want to drive to Madras risking the demonic drivers with their blinding lights ( In India we have the least respect for life, we are so selfish that we want to blind the other Vehicle off the road let them all die, but I have to drive with my lights glaring away. I dont know if we will ever learn driving courtesy, not even 5% of Drivers dip their beams, worst are Buses, Lorries T board Taxis, respect and courtesy to others on the road and the thought that there are lives in the other vehicle has to be nailed into drivers heads. Then we are so ironical that the same person who blinds others of the road will be a philanthropist , paying lakhs to take care of orphans ). India actually needs to be called Ironia. More » « Hide

I wet at the wrong time ,as the monsoon has not done its magic , so the falls were not in their full splendor . The height of the cliff, made me imagine how wonderful the falls would be if the rains had not failed. More » « Hide
