Punyalaxmi hotel is in Diamond Harbour, close to Kolkata. One needs to cross Diamond Harbour... .. Punyalaxmi hotel is in Diamond Harbour, close to Kolkata. One needs to cross Diamond Harbour Railway station and go ahead and take a right turn from a shop called 'Khadim'. Though the road appears to be narrow, it is more than 10ft wide and careful driveway for SUVs. The road straight leads to Punyalaxmi gate. Apart from teh swimming pool and enjoying the river view, there are no such activities. Children can enjoy the park and lawn. Landscaping is quite good. Food and service is good. More » « Hide

We were a group of class mates meeting after 20 years out of our hometown. The proper road to... .. We were a group of class mates meeting after 20 years out of our hometown. The proper road to Mandarmani ends at Dream Hut resort from where the beach road begins. Most of the hotels are on the beach which have access by beach road. This road closes during high tide. Dream hut consists of beautiful ac/non-ac cottages which are quite affordable. There is no electricity in this place, so all appliances are run by diesel generators including the AC. So, the tariff is a bit high than Digha. But the sea front and solitude is 1000 times better. More » « Hide
