We required 2 days but had availability only for one so we had booked one day over at bison and... .. We required 2 days but had availability only for one so we had booked one day over at bison and one day at other resort. The road into the resort is very bad. The moment we reached there we felt there was something very different from other resorts. The rooms/tent were immediately allotted to us. we were in full surprise when we checked in our tent. A complete different experience. Bathrooms were very lovely. Only problem with the bathroom was no doors. Only a canvas sheet without any locks. We found the service to our satisfaction. There was something in the rsort i loved the most. THe notice near the dinning area. \'NO mobile zone.\' once in the zone we cannot use the mobile while dinning. Which i taught was quite acceptable. Water woods not a option i was looking for at the start. But due to non-availibility of other... .. Water woods not a option i was looking for at the start. But due to non-availibility of other resorts i had to check in. The major reason being there were no Jungle or boat safari\'s due to license under renewal. We reached Mysore early in the morning and took a taxi to Kabini. On our way towards the resort we missed having our breakfast and we were expected to reach in early to the resort. With my 1 yr and 6 yr kid we were not sure if we would get a early checkin. But to our surprise they immediately took us in. The moment we reached the resort around 10.00am the mist was on its way out and we were directed towards the breakfast area which in at the banks of the river under the long trees. It looked like a dream to us. Immediately we found ourselves liking this place. The rooms are good. The resort is more of a private property with 6 good furnished rooms. Being Dec month and lots mist the atmosphere was really good. The service we found it very excellent. Ready to help with anything we require since we were with a 1yr kid. Food was excellent and we enjoyed a lot. Our only setback on the stay was the safaris. Though they offered us with highway safari it did not give us any sightings. Over all very satisfied with the resort and would like to go back again after the license is renewed. More » « Hide

Bandipur and kabini are 2 most favored places to travel. This time being at the last moment the... .. Bandipur and kabini are 2 most favored places to travel. This time being at the last moment the only availability was Tusker Trails. Not sure what to hope for left from hubli by train and then reached the resort by taxi. i also had the option of taking a bus either from a bus stand or even pvt. operator are also operating. these buses take around 2hr to 2.5 hr to reach the checkpost. I reached the resort at 10.00am and found to my surprise the resort was under renovation. lot of room were under construction. the only room available had construction going on near by. Being tired from train journey wanted some sleep, but was not able to due to the work going on. Other than the safari there was nothing available. My room was not very bad. The taps were leaking and the flush used to get stuck wasting lot of water. Coming back to my main reason for being there at Bandipur. I was there to enjoy wildlife and enjoy my hobby which is photography. i did enjoy it well with our driver Siddu, who is very good at the safari had sighting of Dhole and pug mark of tiger which we believe we missed by few minutes even though it was raining and cloudy. The Staff is very good and welcoming. Whatever i asked for was always available with a smile. Service was good. More » « Hide

a wonderful satisfying experience we had. We a group of 16 (11 adults and 5 kids(2 babies of... .. a wonderful satisfying experience we had. We a group of 16 (11 adults and 5 kids(2 babies of 7months and 3 kids of 6 and 8yrs old)) planned a day out. the resort was booked a the last moment with the help of Mr. Bheru Singh. We reached resort in the evening greeted with a welcome juice and a very warm welcome by the resort people. checking was made very easy. We moved in the resort in the electric vehicle( also called as \'baggi\' by the resort people) driven by the resort employees. The environment is excellent and very well maintained. Rooms are spacious and well maintiained. we got fresh and were invited to go to the rajasthan theme park which we enjoyed throughly to every extent. A wonderful culture experience and traditions of Rajasthan was very well seen there. My younger kid being 7months old and hungry was immediately being attended for special food as per our requirement by Mr. Bheru Singh. The most important part is the dinner which is Rajasthani food. I think the food the ambience and the hospitality during the dinner was the best ever experience i had. in the morning we had a good breakfast and jumped in the swimming pool. had a good lunch and then a snack and left back in the evening after a high tea with tasty bhaji and sandwiches. Each and every person in the resort was helpful and always smiling. Though slightly on the higher side every rupee worth is my final conclusion. More » « Hide
