I booked this hotel after reading the review on HolidayIQ.
I was coming from Auarangabad by car and planned to stop over at in the night Kolhapur and continue the journey to Bangalore next day.
I booked AC room over phone after enquiring about the parking facilities and room details. I told them that I would be reaching in the night 9:00 PM and would leave in the morning.
When I reached the hotel, there was no vacant parking and I had to park my Verna in a small space (I was not really comfortable as cars were passing very close). Anyways I went to the reception, the person on the reception made us stand for 15-20 mins since he was checking in/out another person. But does it take so long for 1 person. After I filled up the details and paid advance they told us that we will have to checkout at 7:30 AM in the morning, as they have another booking at 8:00 AM. They had made another booking because I told them that we would leave in the morning. But they should have told us earlier about the checkout time. We called up few other hotels but they were all booked and we had no other choice but stay in the same hotel.
We decided to take things as they come, so we got prepared to leave at 7:30 AM. We ordered dinner. The plates and serving dished were so dirty that I decided not to eat it. Uncomfortable bed, dirty bathroom but we slept.
When we called in the morning for tea and breakfast at 6:30 AM, the kitchen was closed. It opens at 7:00 AM. Nobody arrived till 7:15 AM. Without dinner, without morning tea and breakfast, we had to leave the hotel.
