Well I am a DNA Analyst and my job takes me everywhere. I enjoy traveling and so this job gave me lot of places to see. I love traveling to Araku during Oct to Dec bcos of the weather and the yellow flowers blooming on the mountains. I have at times had good company but if somebody wants to share company to such hills and valleys please put in ur lot.

We checked in on way back to Hyderabad at Hotel Manorama on 27th for a good night rest. That was... .. We checked in on way back to Hyderabad at Hotel Manorama on 27th for a good night rest. That was the biggest blunder. The A/c was making an odd noise all through.We were allotted a room with worn out chairs, about to break bathroom door, rusted shower, stained floors, no hot water etc. The pictures speak it all. We had to postpone our check out for over 2 hours since the Hotel Management had sent a waiter to bring in an electrician to repair the Water Boiler of the Hotel. None came and we waited for such 2 hours to get a bucket of hot water. I managed with cold water since we were short of time. Hotel is avoidable. More » « Hide

Overview of the destination A sheer desire to spend quality time together with none to disturb..... Overview of the destination A sheer desire to spend quality time together with none to disturb us, made me and my wife to choose to drive down the carpet-like Expressway from Hyderabad to Bangalore. We left home at 8 am (from Alwal) in our LPG Santro on a bright Saturday morning. Leaving city traffic behind at Mehdipatnam, we got onto the flyover to Shamshabad and could hardly wait to get onto the 4 track Expresswat. The average speed i could maintain on the total journey was between 110 to 130 kmph. The road was just superb and does not have a single pin-hole leave alone any pot-holes. The toll bridges are the only stops you have. to make The total charge I spent on such toll bridges was Rs 273, one way. A price very cheap for the comfort they gave. It took a total of 8 hours with 2 halts for breakfast and lunch of nearly 1 hour each to reach RT Nagar at Bangalore. All the 600 odd kms in like a walk in your garden. More » « Hide

The resort is located around 22 kms away from the town amongst the hills. The location is very... .. The resort is located around 22 kms away from the town amongst the hills. The location is very good with a good real lake view. The resort is well maintained but security concerns could be a bother. The walk from the front office to the accommodations are lonely and scary. I had a bad check in done by the Club office at Chennai. Their was confusion but later they stood by what they had promised. The rooms are a bit under ventilated with a strict no-smoking policy. Also a good destination for trekkers. A nice forest cover. Kuntala waterfalls is quiet good and is claimed to be the highest waterfall in AP. Pochera is a smaller waterfall. More » « Hide
