It is so vast that you cannot see from one end to the other (East West Direction). If properly developed by Indian Government it will give the best beaches of the world a run for their money. You can conduct all activities possible and also conduct car and bike races. More » « Hide

The property is very well maintained and can be used for bonfires and parties. The children will love the place. The pool is also very good. The rooms are just ok with sea view. The bathrooms are clean but looks a bit dated. The food is not at all standard as compared to the price. Complimentary buffet breakfast menu is very narrow and does not have the items like fruits, fruit juices, cornflakes. The service is very slow to say the least. But, I must also add all staff members are very helpful and were very nice. I will recommend this place for goings in group of friends with families or large families. Not fit for honeymooners. If Munsiyari gives you the closest view of Panchachuli, Chaukori gives a close and wide view of the range starting from Trishul and Nanda Devi at one side to Annapurna on the other. You can definitely stay and enjoy the beauty of nature for couple of days. It is a feast to your senses to see the peak changing colours as the day progresses. Don't forget to trek around or go on nature walks. It is better to halt at Chaukori for a couple of days while returning from Munsiyari. The visit to the musk deer farm is a must. Don't forget to take the Kausani route which is longer but more beautiful with splendid views and smooth rides. More » « Hide

Should be listed as one of the must visit places in India. The closest you can get to the Majestic Himalayas as a tourist. The views a jaw droppings, the village is mesmerizing and food is standard. Just go out there and relax, trek, detox and enjoy you time there, because you will seldom have such a combination of nature to enjoy. Advise not to visit Munsiyari directly from Nainital or Kathgodam, because it will be very tiring and hectic. Do the same while returning. Snow remains till end of April, so plan accordingly. Load yourself with all types of Lens since you can be assured of a award winning snap. We were plain lucky we got full moon night and a clear sky. Enjoy. More » « Hide

The approach road to the place is covered by beautiful Deodar Forest and Jata Ganga river. The TRH is under renovation and they serve only normal veg food since it is a temple town. We stopped here for a day before proceeding with our tour. Carry all your essentials. More » « Hide
