\'God\'s Own Country\', this is how holidaying in kerala is sold worldwide. Initially my wife and i didn\'t really take this seriously when we ventured to look for a good backwater holidaying spot. But once we landed at Kayaloram,Allepey we couldn\'t but believe in every word of the phrase i just mentioned. Kayaloram has a lot to owe to its manager Mr. Raymond PJ. A wonderful and warm heart really did have a lot to add to our wonderful holidaying experience. The location is on the banks of the river Vembanad and is truly serene. With the birds cooing in the air, water lashing on the shores, fishermen trying to make a living casting their nets for a catch and the wonderful black coffee just add to an out of the earth experience. The food is great too and the service really personalised. Kudos to Mr. Raymond PJ and his team at Kayaloram.

Overall it was an utter dissapointment. The only icing on the cake was the change ot atmosphere. The resort and its activities are a pure illusion and fellow holiday planner please beware of the scam. The resort isnt anything of what it seems on the snaps online. The service is below standard and the maintainence is really bad. They really need to spruce up the landscape. To top it all the famous jungle safari and nature walk is a pure hoax. On the pretext of showing you animals you are woken up at 4am in the morning only to return having seen some birds around a watering hole. These guys really take you for a ride.
