An enormous facility with over 500 rooms and the location of the most prestigious \'Nariman Point\' brought to you by the most luxurious Oberoi Hotels! The hotel houses some of the best brands in its shopping arcade like tods, gucci, chopard et al. Add, to this the banks, multiplex, numerous eatouts and very many branded shopping options make it the beverly hills of India!! I guess, I dont, have to explain more if you are staying in Mumbai for business. I was thrilled to check-in, I was auto upgraded to a deluxe room with teraffic views and top quality room. I would say that the hotel basically enjoys the locational advantage being located bang opposite... .. I would say that the hotel basically enjoys the locational advantage being located bang opposite to the Bombay Hospital and some busy business locales of the city. However, the experience of stay at the hotel is not more than a hackneyed old style guest house of british raj but the frills of modern amenities tried to mitigate the deficiencies of the hotel\'s infrastructure. I perhaps enjoyed the surroundings of the hotel more than the hotel per se!! There is a great cinema hall and some good street eat outs there which change your after taste for the hotel. Quite a ordinary hotel experience with not much of an excitment to stay in a hotel. This hotel is... .. Quite a ordinary hotel experience with not much of an excitment to stay in a hotel. This hotel is old enough (atleast the rooms) to give a porche lodge kind of feel but the friendly, hospitable staff (almost all from bengal) add to the hope that the better is times are to come with the renovation underway! The food is just around normal by Mysore standards but with so many new hotels popping up in the growing city, the once famous place to eat would shade into oblivion soon.
